Wednesday November 23rd is the date of this year’s Uppingham Fatstock Show held in the town’s central market place. Best time to view is between 9am and 12noon. Don’t miss this annual spectacle which attracts interest and support from around the world.

The annual Uppingham Christmas Fair organised by the Rotary Club of Uppingham and featuring over 19 stalls of local artisans is on Friday November 4th in The Falcon Hotel. The Fair opens at 10am and runs until 3.30pm. The fair will be officially opened at 10am by Rutland High Sheriff Geoff Thompson Repeated each year

The Uppingham Artisans have launched in their new premises on High Street East with an opening drinks reception attended by many guests. A new committee of volunteers is organising the Uppingham Late Night Shopping event for Thursday December 1st this year. A new website for the event is being developed. In the interests of transparency UF will support the new group with banking and insurance facilities. More news soon.

The dates for the 2023 Uppingham based classic vehicle events have now been set. The 2023 Stilton Classic Vehicle Run event will be held on Sunday April 23rd with registration possible at www.stiltoncheeserun.uk from January 1st.
