A local campaign to ensure Uppingham retains a post office is now in full swing following the current Postmaster’s notification that he is to retire next year.
Uppingham First and Uppingham Town Council are working in partnership to explore the town’s options for the future.
One aspect of the campaign seeks to encourage the arrival of a new post office business. A second is looking at securing the building (pictured) if it comes up for sale.
