Uppingham Neighbourhood Forum Executive Members were delighted to learn that two of their number have been invited to attend the King’s Coronation in London.
Both were recently awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) for their voluntary sector work, particularly during the Covid lockdown.
A meeting of the board of Uppingham First noted the invitations commenting that it was great news for the individuals and for the town to be recognised in this way.
