Uppingham Homes Community Land Trust has been authorised by the Housing Regulator to move to the final stage of the application process to become a Registered Housing Provider. The Trust hopes to complete the necessary paperwork by the end of the year.
RHP status will enable the local affordable housing trust to proceed with its plans to build truly affordable homes for local younger people to rent and to buy. A number of major housing developers and local land owners have agreed to collaborate with the initiative.
