The phased re-opening of Uppingham High Street, including The Falcon Hotel, has gone well according to Uppingham Community Emergency Plan coordinators who met last week to review progress in bringing the town centre back to life while keeping people safe.
Plans for the re-opening of the town’s hospitality venues on July 4th appear to have borne fruit with the full re-opening of schools in September next on the committee’s agenda. Notes of their meeting on June 28th can be read online at www.uppinghamonline.co.uk
