The 2024 Uppingham Feast has been declared an outstanding success and the best for many years.
Enhanced by glorious weather and excellent footfall, participating stall holders, event visitors and supporting bands confirmed they were all very pleased with the tremendous support the Feast had received. A packed evening market place heard local and guest bands perform as the crowds basked in glorious sunshine
Commenting on the success of the event, Uppingham First Executive Director Ron Simpson BEM said, “Lead organisers Lucy Stephenson and James Torbell together with their supporting volunteers deserve much praise for once again delivering an outstanding day out for the family with all ages catered for. One cannot plan the weather, so the sunshine on the day was a huge bonus and helped attract large crowds in excess of those attending in 2023 and 2022 (pictured). Well done everyone involved.”
