Uppingham Neighbourhood Forum has been chosen to benefit from the next round of the Co-op Local Community Fund. The funding round will open on October 27th 2019 and run until October 24th 2020.
The fund enables shoppers in the town who are co-op members to choose the Forum and its community projects for support when purchasing selected Co-op own brand services and goods.
The Forum is planning a campaign to encourage local shoppers to support it by shopping at the Co-op. More news on this soon.
Neighbourhood Forum Chair Janet Thompson (pictured) said, “We are delighted that the Forum has been selected by the Co-op for support from its Community Fund. The money raised will be allocated to a number of the Forum’s projects including its good neighbour scheme UppWatch”.
