PCS is a long standing pest control company that is located on the Station Road Industrial Estate in Uppingham. The company has donated two defibrillators to the town’s growing network of devices following their rescue by employee Paul Crowley (pictured left) from another workplace which was closing down.
The first defibrillator host and sponsor is local company ‘Station Road Self Storage’, a new self storage business which opened in January. Pictured is proprietor Graham Kendrick formally receiving the device to be placed in the wall mounted cabinet at his premises located where it will be accessible 24 hours a day. It will join the town’s growing network of defibrillators which are monitored and supported by Uppingham First . Access to this defibrillator is secured by dialing the ambulance service via the emergency number 999. In case of access problems call 01572 495050 or mobile 07710 328469 for help.
The second donated defibrillator is to be hosted by Uppingham Town Football Club at it’s clubhouse on Tod’s Piece. This device has a carry case to enable it to be taken to away matches when required.
