Mystery surrounds the identity of the Uppingham resident who has taken it upon his or her self to improve the presentation of the town’s signs encouraging visitors to to shop in Uppingham and support the local high street.
Social media comments praise the actions of the mystery benefactor following earlier negative comment about the quality of the signs and how they were displayed.
All the signs have now been properly framed and re-erected to a high standard. It is understood that the mystery sign restorer was dissatisfied with the poor image the signs portrayed of the town which is renowned for its quality shopping and leisure experience.
