Uppingham led CPRE Rutland, the countryside charity, has launched a new website intended to offer greater transparency on the charity’s activities and attract a new generation of supporters for its work to promote, protect and develop the Rutland countryside.
The new website identifies the charity’s Trustees, operational regulations and adopted policies. Over the course of 2022 the national and local work programme of the CPRE will be featured including its future action plan founded on the recently completed RCC Rutland Vision. Its support for the Mallard Pass Solar Farm Action Group and its views on the new emerging Rutland Local Plan will also feature in regular news updates on the site.
A new CPRE online shop will enable the purchase of CPRE Rutland publications including the walkers’ handbook and guide to the 63 mile Rutland Round and a new affordable housing survey booklet suitable for use by local parish councils. CPRE social media links will be added to the site in 2022.
