Representatives of Uppingham School, Uppingham Community College and the town’s Community Emergency Plan Committee have met to discuss the implications of the September return to school. The Committee reports to the Uppingham Neighbourhood Forum which is chaired by Janet Thompson (pictured).
Both education institutions have undertaken a tremendous amount of work to ensure community safety both inside and outside their boundaries following the Covid-19 lockdown. Uppingham School has published a newsletter to update residents on recent developments. The re-opening of Uppingham Community College has been delayed by a major fire.
