Countryside Charity Branch Expands

Residents of Rutland and Stamford are to see and hear much about a new logo this month (pictured at ‘read more’). Its publication confirms a decision of the national board of CPRE, the countryside charity, to expand the reach of its former Rutland branch to now include the area of Stamford and South Kesteven.

Commenting upon the move, Uppingham resident and CPRE Rutland and Stamford Chair Ron Simpson BEM said, “The Rutland Charity Trustees are delighted that this change proposed by them has been approved. It will improve the overall performance and capability of the branch and has already attracted some new members. The branch website and email addresses will soon reflect the change.”

The new branch will now be promoted on local radio and social media with a view to attracting one or two additional Trustees from the Stamford area. The charity also seeks a new Treasurer and would welcome expressions of interest from Rutland and Stamford residents to chair@cprerutland.uk
