Uppingham Neighbourhood Forum
The Uppingham Neighbourhood Forum is an independent community group originally set up through Uppingham First. Our aim is to cascade relevant local information to our residents in Uppingham. We are able to promote local events in our twice-yearly Newsletter which is delivered to every household in our town by our kind volunteers.
The Forum is a non-political group, aiming to provide support and signposting to other support organisations in the area.
We hold a summer and a winter meeting in the Falcon Hotel, inviting speakers to give talks on current issues and provide information of forthcoming events. This includes a standing invitation to our local Police Team to provide an update on crime statistics and helpful safety information, and a regular update by the Chair of the Uppingham Surgery Patient Participation Group to provide news from our GP Surgery.
Everyone is invited to these resident meetings and local groups are encouraged to attend and give their own updates.
The Community Groups represented on the organising committee are:
Uppingham in Bloom
Guiding and Brownie Association
Uppingham Rotary
Uppingham Youth Group
St.Johns & St. Annes Housing Charity
Uppingham Churches
Uppingham Parish Choir
Lime, Firs & Spurs Residents’ Association
