Sunday's Charity Walk around the  Eyebrook Reservoir has been declared an outstanding success by organisers The Rotary Club of Uppingham. The walk raised almost £2000 for the Lakelands Hospice, Corby and the Leicestershire Employent for Autism Today (LEAT).

With a mini bus link to Uppingham and  crowded restaurants in the town afterward, the 4.6 mile walk is set to become an annual event and a tourism attraction. Walkers and their supporters travelled from as far as Bristol to particpate in the inaugural event which took place in brilliant sunshine.
